Rose Water and Lemon Juice
- 12 fluid ounces sparkling mineral water
- ½ cup fresh lemon juice
- 15 drops liquid stevia
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- 4 slices lemon
- 4 sprigs fresh mint
- Stir mineral water, lemon juice, stevia, and rose water together in a pitcher. Pour over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint.
Rose water has many healthy skin benefits; just add it to water to nourish your skin. It can be easily purchased online or found a local speciality shops, particularly at Middle Eastern grocery stores. For an adult beverage, add vodka or gin to the mix, creating a nice sipping beverage for hot summer days. Fresh basil is also a nice herb to use in place of the mint for a different flavor. Use a homemade honey simple syrup instead of the stevia if desired. Simply boil 1 part honey with 1 part water until honey is dissolved; remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Pour 1 teaspoon into each serving and add more to taste.

I have had a bottle of rose water sitting around my kitchen for the longest wondering what to do with it. Saw this recipe and I had most of the ingredients- just needed to buy mint. While this is more of a summer drink, I loved the taste of this even during this cold weather. I didn't have liquid stevia, so used my powdered stevia and mixed in just well.
