Usually I think a chicken Parm recipe is going to be labor-intensive, but this recipe makes it so approachable. I love that the CrispLid allows you to fully cook the meal without having to turn on the oven, especially on hot summer days.

The recipe given here and the recipe in the CrispLid book are different. This one says 6 thighs and the one in the recipe book says 4 thighs. Six thighs are too many to cook at one time with the CrispLid. My chicken wasn't done even after 20 minutes cook time. The dish looked and smelled delicious and it was easy to prepare but we couldn't chance eating chicken that wasn't done. I will try this recipe again with only 4 thighs! I do love the CrispLid so this review is no reflection on the unit!!!!

The chicken did take longer to cook to proper internal temperature, but we just waited until we were at 163 degrees before adding the toppings. I love how simple and quick this is to make. I put this on top of some spaghetti noodles.
