Mealthy Tip

Try any variety of toppings! Optional topping ideas: sour cream, Cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, green onions, butter, for the traditional route. For an non-traditional route, try kimchi and green onions combo or avocado and queso fresco combo.

Experiment with different spices and seasonings to coat the potatoes. In addition to the salt and pepper, try garlic powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, or ground cumin.

Just perfect! I Crisp Lid roasted my potatoes, put them in the bottom of the pot, and Crisp Lidded my Tri-Tip over them. One of the best Mealthy meals in a long time! Potatoes were served with butter, sour cream, crumbled fresh bacon (also done in the CrispLid) and chopped green onions. Tri-tip needed nothing! YUM!

Please help me here. I can nuke a potato to done in about 4 minutes. Soggy but cooked. So, how long would it take to CrispLid crispy a nuked but cooled enough to oil potato? OH, you object to the use of a microwave? Ok, how long would it take to crispy a pressure cooked spud? Daggone thing is NOT an "Instant" pot, but certainly waaaaaay less than 50 minutes. (Love your recipes, Caroline!)

I’m with Phillip. Were using an instant pot for heaven sake‘s why are we ignoring that function? I may try this with simply pressure cook the potato and finish with the crispy lid instead of using the lid only and camping in the appliance for a 50 minute potato.
