Asian-Style Peanut Dipping Sauce
- 1 cup natural peanut butter
- 2 limes, juiced
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, or more to taste
- ½ cup water
- Blend peanut butter, lime juice, fish sauce, sesame oil, honey, and red pepper flakes in a blender until smooth. Stream water into mixture while blending and continue blending until smooth.
If you have a peanut allergy, replace the peanut butter with almond or cashew butter. To make the dipping sauce vegan, simply replace the honey with agave nectar or maple syrup and the fish sauce with coconut aminos. You can also put all the ingredients into a bowl and use an immersion blender creating an extra creamy sauce.

I made this with linguini noodles and chicken for my Thai loving husband, he loved it! I substituted the fish sauce for soy sauce and used cayenne pepper in addition to the red pepper flakes. I also put it on a pan on the stove and had to watch it closely while it cooked so it didn't burn. Very delicious with the pasta!!
