Pineapple Kale Smoothie
- ¼ large pineapple, chopped (or 1 cup frozen cubes)
- 2 kale leaves, de-ribbed
- ½ cup coconut water
- ¼ avocado
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon honey
For best results, we recommend using:
- Blend all ingredients until smooth, 30 to 45 seconds. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately. Alternately, place ingredients in the chopper attachment of an immersion blender and blend until smooth.
Avocado adds healthy fats and creaminess to smoothies. You can also substitute half of a banana to get the same creamy texture and more potassium. Alternatively, add a quarter cup of plain yogurt or coconut yogurt for more protein and a probiotic boost.
